All Railway Tracks In Colombo Fort Railway Station Are Underwater

All Railway Tracks of the Colombo Fort
Railway station had been submerged this morning (24)as a result of heavy showers it has been reported.

Katunayake had received  the highest rainfall 272.3 Mili meters today .

More Than 45,000 Persons Affected And 22 houses Destroyed Due To The Adverse Weather

More than 44,000 persons had been
injured   and 22 houses had been completly destroyed  Due to the heavy showers prevaling in many Districts of the island  since few days .

Due to the continuous showers prevailing in Colombo .Gampaha Kalutara Galle ,Matara ,Ratnapura and Kegalle districts tree falls and wall collapses had been reported .

 A Bo Tree located at the Epidemeomeology Unit building in Colombo had collapsed  on to the road it has been revealed  ..

A waLl attached to a house at Subbuthipura ,Battaramulla had  collapsed today . 

PSC Interdicted Deputy Solicitor General Dilrukshi Dias Wikramasinghe

The secretary of the Public Service Comission  (PSC) has
today  (24)informed the Attorney General Dappula De Livera through a telephone call that the  Solicitor General of the Artorney General's Department Dilrukshi Dias Wikramasinghe has   been temporarily interdicted.

Public Services Commission had interdicted the  Solicitor General Dilrukshi Wikramasimghe to conduct an inquiry against her over the controversial sound tape released to the social media regarding a conversation between  her and one of the  accused in the Avant-Guarde  floating armoury case Nissanka Senadhipathi.

Attorney General had yesterday (23)requested the PSC To conduct an inquiry against Dilrukshi Wikramasimghe over the sound tape incident.

Avant-Guarde Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathi Had released the tape to the Facebook however the interdicted Solicitor General has requested him to release the full conversation of them by charging that the conversation  in the tape was distorted
