STF Arrested Three Persons Along With A Stock Of Waste Tea

have today (10)arrested three persons along with  a haul of  waste tea mixed with a poisonous chemical contains Glucose powder during a raid carried out in a Tea Factory at Minipura  ,Kiriella ,Ratnapura .

During the raid STF Personal have taken into custody 736 Kilo Grammes of Waste Tea mixed with Glucose .840 Kilo Grammes of Waste tea prepared to be sold and 142 Kilo Grammes of Glucose Powder at the factory .

Two Persons Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Road Accident At Southern Expressway

Two persons had been injured and hospitalized after the Van they have travelling from Colombo to Matara had veering off the road toppled over at Welipanna area of Southern Expressway this morning (10).

The injured had been admitted to Elpitiya Hospital for treatment .Welipanna Police are conducting an investigations over the incident .

Fuel Price Formula Committee To Meet Next Tuesday To Revise Fuel Prices

The Fuel Price Formula Committee  which meets 10th of Every month is scheduled to meet this Tuesday (13) to revise the Fuel  prices as today (10) and Monday (12) are Public Holidays according to the Ministry Of Finance .

The Committee which met last month had  reduced  the  Petrol and Diesel prices .
