National Police Commisiion Had Approved Transfers Of 15 Higher Police Officers

National Police Commission had given approval for the  transfers of  15 higher Police Officers including 06 Deputy Inspector General's Of Police (DIG) to facilitate holding  preliminary Inquiries against them to see whether they were responsible for not preventing Easter Sunday Attacks. These transfers scheduled to be implemented as service requirements according to Police.  

Acting Inspector General Of Police (IGP0 has made these transfers in order to conduct investigations against them as ordered by Attorney General Dappula De Livera based on the recommendations made by  vijitha Malalgoda Commission appointed by the president to conduct investigations over Easter Sunday Attacks .

Attorney General has earlier ordered the Acting IGP to conduct  inquiries against 09 Higher police officers including DIG's ,SP.s ASP's and OIC's on criminal charges and take a disciplinary action against them over not preventing Easter Sunday attacks.

Meanwhile Acting IGP had alos instructed the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to conduct an inquiries against 09 higher Police officers regarding Easter Sunday attacks.

Colombo Fort Railway Station Had Shut Down This Evening

Colombo Fort Railway Station had
completely closed down this evening (21)amidst tightened security after operating few  special trains to Galle ,Mahawa,Chilaw and Awissawella areas for office commuters it has been reported .

Tri Forces along with Police and riot Police personal have been deployed at Colombo Fort Railway station to provide security to the station  .

Parliament Had Approved The Gazette Notification Banning Three Muslim Extremist Organization's

Parliament has today  (21)unanimously
approved the Gazette Notification including ordered prepared by President to ban three Muslim Extremist Organization's "National Thowheed Jammath ",Jammathe Milathei Ibrahim and "Milathei Seilani ".
House Leader Lakshman Kiriella had submitted the Gazette Notification prepared under the 27th article of Terrorism Prevention Act to the Parliament .

After debating it for several hours Parliament had approved the Gazette .The Gazette was issued several weeks after the Easter Sunday attacks by the president Maithripala Sirisena.

National Thowheed Jammath Organization was created by the chief boMB suspect of Easter Sunday attacks Mohommad Zahran Hashim.
