Army Commander Requested The Public To Send Children Schools From Tomorrow(21)

Mahesh Senanayake has today (20)requested the public to send children to schools from tomorrow (21)without any fear as the maximum security is being provided to all schools .
A special programme has been launched to provide maximum security to schools he has stressed.

A similar request was made by Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam during a press briefing held today (20) in Colombo. Minister has appealed the parents to send their children schools from tomorrow without fear .

Although government schools were commeneed their second term recently attendance of school children reported as low due to the rumours of Extremist attacks.

Army Commander has recently stated that parents have sent their children to Tution classes without fear during last few weeks but refused to send them to schools .

Three Youth Had Been Arrested Over Photographing Ratnapura Town

Ratnapura Police have yesterday

(19)arresred three youth two Muslim Nationals and a Sinhalese over photographing Ratnapura Town by using High tech cameras it has been reported .

The three youth had been arrested over complaints made by residents of the area saying they have The photographed the pallekanda reserve in Angammana ,Ratnapura .

The three suspects had been produced before the Ratnapura Additional Magistrate and the Magistrate has ordered the police to question them under detention for 72 Hours and produced then again before the court on 23rd of May .

Police have recovered two high tech cameras ,Motor bike number plates and mobile phones in possession of the youth who are residents of Ratnapura . .They were arresred accordance to the complaints made by residents of the area .

Defense Ministry Had Given Permission To Kurunagala Police To Question The Terrorist Suspect For Three Months

The Parliament Interpreter attached to

Hanzard office in Parliament arrested over supporting and encouraging Banned Thowheeth Jamaath Organization and have close relationship with the leader of the Organization Mohommad Zahran is scheduled to be questioned by Kurunagala Police whilst in custody for three month period according to Police Media Spokesman 'Superintendent office .

Ministry Of Defense has given permission to a special Police team attacked to Kurunagala Police to question the suspected Parliament Interpreter Mohommad Jalaldeen of Alawatgugoda in Kandy for three months under detention orders it has been revealed.

The suspect was one of the pioneers that formed the National Thowheeth Jamaath and acted as the coordinater of the Organization in colombo.

Eighty Nine Suspects Had Been Arrested Regarding Easter Sunday Attacks

89 suspects arrested so far regarding

the Easter Sunday Bomb attacks according to Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekare.

Addressing a Press briefing held at Defense Ministry in Colombo today (20) SP Gunasekare has stressed that out of these 89 suspects 69 are being held under the custody of Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and 20 of them are in the custody of Terrorism Investigations Division .
