A Motorcyclist Was Killed Due To A Road Accident

A 34 Year old Person had been killed

after the Motorcycle he was riding in colliding with a Tipper Truck transporting sand at Plawehera m Dambulla last night (27).

The Tipper Truck had traveled from Polonnaruwa to Dambulla and the Motorcycle was travelling from Dambulla to Palwehera at the time of the incident.

The deceased was a resident of Perugasyaya area ,Palwehera .

The incident occurred due to the high speed of the Motorcycle and the deceased was not wearing a helmet according to police.

A 21 Year Old Youth Had Committed Suicide

A 21 year old youth had committed suicide by jumping in front of a Train travelling from

Kankasanthurai to Mount Lavinia at Damwelwissa area in Anuradhapura District last evening (27).

The deceased was a resident of Nochchiyagama area in Anuradhapura it has been revealed.The cause of the death has not yet been revealed .
