Four Persons Had Been Killed And Four Others Injured Due To Deadly Van-Tipper Collision
Four persons including three females
had been killed and four others had been injured and hospitalized after the van they were travelling in colliding with a Tipper truck arrived in from the opposition direction in wee hours of this morning (18) at nagawilluwa area on Puttalam -Colombo road.
The eight injured persons including the Van driver had been admitted to Puttalam Base Hospital where four of them had succumbed to their injuries on admission.
Two of the injured had been transferred to Colombo National Hospital for further treatment .
The incident occurred around 1.45 a.m this morning when the van travelliing from Jaffna to Colombo had collided with the tipper truck travelling from Colombo to puttalam.
The Tipper truck driver had been arrested by the police over the incident.

A Young Female Had Been Killed Due To Three Wheeler-Lorry Collision
A young female had been killed and his
brother was injured and hospitalized after the Three wheeler they were travelling in colliding with a Lorry at Phadagoda,Aluthgama last morning(17).
The injured had been admitted to Nagoda Hospital in Kalutara.
Aluthgama Police have arrested the Lorry driver over the incident.

A 62 Year Old Person Had Drowned After Jumping Into Kelani River
A 62 year old person had drowned and dissapeared after
Jumping into a Kelani River near Nawagamu Devalaya ,Kaduwela yesterday (17).
The deceased had seen jumping into the river by some people around the area.
He was a resident of Thunnana area ,Hanwella .
The cause behind the imcident has not yet been revealed.
