Three Persons Had Been Killed And Three Injured Due To Three Wheeler-Van Collision

Three persons of a same family  had
been killed and three children belonging to the family had been injured and hospitalized after the Three Wheeler they were travelling in Colliding with a van at Maddalanda , Polgahawela area on Kurunagala-Colombo road this morning(15).

The three persons killed on the spot were father,mother and father's mother of a same family it has been revealed.The three children of the couple who had been injured one of them critically admitted to Polgahawela Hospital and later transferred to Kurunagala Teaching Hospital for further treatment.

The incident occurred when the deceased family members and their injured children were on the way to a function at Alawwa from Mawanella according to the police.


Three Persons Had Been Arrested With Around 100 Grammes Of "Ice" And "Cocaine"

Panadura North Police have arrested
three persons including a female with around 100 grammes of "Ice" and "Cocaine"narcotics in possession at Rividevgama in Keselwatta,Panadura recently.

The three suspects who are of the ages 22,28 and 30 years old had been arrested with around 96 Grammes of "Ice"and 04 grammes of "Cocaine in possession at a rented house in rividevgama .The two male suspects are brothers of a same family and  residents of Kelaniya area it has been revealed.

Police have also taken in to custody 16 mobile phones amd 08 sim cards as well as a scale in possession of the suspects .

Police have obtained seven day detention orders from courts to question the suspects.

Police Commission Has Cancelled The Teansfer Of Colombo Crimes Division OIC

National Police Commission has
yesterday (14)ordered Inspector General of Police (IGP)to cancel the transfer order of OIC attached to Colombo Crimes Investigations Division Chief Police Inspector Neville de silva to Police headquarters .

Police Commission has made this order after considering the appeal submitted by Chief Police  Inspector Neville de silva regarding his transfer order made by IGP Without getting aporoval of the commission .

IGP has transferred the OIC Silva to the Police Headquarters to carryout normal duties there.

Police Commission has also cancelled the transfer order of OIC attached to Police Headquarters Chief police inspector G.V Janaka  who had been transferred to Colombo Crimes division to replace  OIC Neville De silva there .

A Fire Destroyed A Shop In Ayagama

A sudden fire had completely destroyed
a shop at Gamikkanda area in Ayagama ,Ratnapura last morning (14) along with a cab parked in front of the shop.

Police with the help of villagers in the area  had doused the fire before spreading it further .The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed.
