There Are Two Opposition Leaders In Parliament -TNA Leader Sampanthan

Tamil National Alliance  (TNA) Leader
and Opposition Leader R.Sampanthan and TNA MP M.A SumanthIran had today (19)stated in Parliament that now there are two opposition leaders in Parliament as Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has yesterday (18)informed the house he will accept Mahinda Rajapakshe as opposition leader.

Speaker has made this remark without removing him from Opposotion Leader posto MP Sampanthan has stressed. Therefore there are two opposition leaders now he has said .

TNA MP M.A SumanthIran has said Mahinda Rajapakshe is not even a MP as he has taken the membership of Podu Jana Peramuna  (Flower Bud symbol )on 11 th of November by showing three news reports on that .

As Former President Rajapakshe has contested from United People's Freedom Alliance  (UPFA) and elected to parliament, when he got a members hip of a Party which not even represent the Parliament, his MP Post will be abolished accordance to the 99 (13)article of the constitution MP has stressed.

However UPFA MP Susil Premjayantha has said Former President Rajapakshe is still got the membership of UPFA and therefore the speakers decision to appoint him as opposition leader is a correct decision.
