Country Is Being Demeaned Internatiorally Due To The Political Conflict -Leader Of "Veddha" Community

internationally Due to the current political conflict in the country according to the leader of Sri Lankan Indeginous community "Veddhas" Uruwarige Wanniyalaaththo .

The current politIcal conflict has occurred as a result of actions of rulers who are governing the country and Religious leaders should have advised the political leaders to solve this conflict he has stressed during a meeting held at his residence with a group of intellectuals .

Minority Government Must Resign As It Proved They Have No Majority In Parliament Yesterday (23)-UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Prrmadasa

As it proved again that the appointed

minority government has no majority in Parliament During yesterday's (23)voting in the house ,minority government should have resigned by respecting the democracy the Deputy leader and Minister of Housing Sajith Prrmadasa has told the media yesterday (23 ).

Addressing a Press briefing held in Parliament Complex he has stressed that the current minority government has no right to stay in power illegally and by thuggery .

A Police Constable, His Wife And Son Had Been Killed Due To Three Wheeler-Cab Collision

A 48 year old Police Constable ,his wife

and son had been killed after the Three Wheeler they were travelling in colliding with a Cab at WelMilla area on Bandaragama-Kesbawa main road yesterday (23).

The Police Constable and his wife were killed on the spot due to the Accident and their son had succumbed his injuries after being admitted to Panadura Base Hospital .

The incident occurred when the Police Constable along with his wife and son on the way home after receiving treatment for his wife from Maharagama Apeksha"(Cancer)Hospital it has been revealed .

The deceased Police Constable was a resident of KaranDeniya area and attached to a Police post in Southern Expressway .His deceased wife and son were 40 year and 15 year old residents of KaranDeniya area .

Due to the high speed of the cab caused this accident and the Cab driver was also hospitalized after the accident according to Police.

A Section Of A Nawalapitiya Main Road Had Been Submerged Due To Heavy showers Last Evening (23)

Around 500 meter area of main road in

Nawalapitiya (Kandy District ) town has submerged last evening (23)and disrupted tramspott activities ,due to the heavy showers experienced in Western slope areas in Central hills yesterday .

Accordingly from Nawalapitiya Bus stand up to Sri Pada Pirivena in Gampola had been submerged with two feet of water it has been reported .Several shops in the road too had been submerged as a result.

Due to the blockage in canal system of Nawalapitiya Town caused floods during the rainy season people say .

How Authorities Caused Inconvenience To Public -Eighteen Hour Water Cut Currently Implemented In Many Areas Of Colombo District

Eighteen hour long water cut began at 8 a.m today (24) is now on in four Municipal Council, Three Urban Council, Two Pradishiya Sabha areas and Ratmalana and Soyza flat scheme until 2 a.m tomorrow (25) due to a major repair work in Ambathale water purification center according to National Water Supplies and Drainage Board .

Accordingly Water cut is implemented in Colombo ,Dehiwala -Mount Lavinia ,Kotte and Kaduwela Municipal Council areas,Boralesgamuwa ,Maharagama and Kolonnawa Urban Council areas and kotikawatte and Mulleriyawa Pradishiya Sabha areas .
