If Opposition Defeated The Interim Account In Parliament Government Will Be Changed -Appointed Mimister Dayasiri Jayasekare

If the opposition defeated the Interim
Accoint due to be submitted to the Parliament by the minority government  to cover the government expenditure for the first quarter of next year  (2019) there will be no dissolvement of Parliament only the government will be changed according to appointed Minister Dayasiri Jayasekare .

Addressing a Cabinet briefing held at Government Information Department in Narahenpita this morning  (22) Appointed Minister Jayasekare has revealed this .

A similar remark has   made by Appointed Minster of Transport Nimal Siripala De Silva recently .

Akurana Town Inundated Due To Heavy Showers Prevailed In Kandy

Akurana Town is currently being
completely inundated by several feets of water as a result of the heavy showers prevailed in Kandy District during today  (22)according to Disaster Management Center .

Shops and Houses In Akurana are also inundated as a result.

The Center has advised the Motorists to use Wattegama area when travelling from Kandy to Matale to avoid  Akurana .

Meanwhile Dunuwila road and A-9 road between Kandy -Matale are also inundated by several feet of water it has been revealed.


A Special Security To Be Provided To Parliament Tomorrow (23)

A special security is due to be provided
to the Parliament by the Police and Special Police Task Force Personal jointly During it's proceeding tomorrow (23) .

Every individual imcluding Parliamentarians, their vehicles ,Goods and luggage will be thoroughly checked before entering Parliament premises according to Police.

However due to security reasons Authorities have decided to close VIP and Public Galleries of the Parliament tomorrow .Except Parliamentarians and Parliament staff only Media personal are allow to enter the Parliament premises during tomorrow's proceeding scheduled to be started at 10.30 a.m it has been announced .

New Minority Government To Continue -Now No Need For General Election -Appointed Minister S.B Dassanayake

Since  the appointing of  new minority
government lead by new Premier Mahinda Rajapakshe the main goal of the members of the Government is to go for a General Election. They have voiced on this publicly many times .However the appointed Minister of Roads and Road Development S.B Dassanayake has told the media today (22)"The new government will continue .We will find the majority,Appointed new speaker and go for a General Election only in 2020.We will conduct the Provincial Council Elections first early next year."

Addressing a media briefing held at the house of United People's Freedom Alliance MP Thilanga Sumathipala in Borella today ,Appointed Mimister Dissanayake has stressed president can remove the Gazette Notification issued regarding dissolving Parliament a moment before the Supreme Court gives the verdict whether the Gazette is valid or not .
