President Has Informed Party Leaders He Is Ready To Accept Parliamentary Majority If ........

President Maithripala Sirisena has
agreed to accept Parliamentary Majority and requested several political parties to resubmit the No confidence motion submitted to the Parliament yesterday (14) again tomorrow (16) by removing clause 1 of the motion  and show majority from a vote conducted  by name of each MP,,during a meeting held at Presidential Secretariet this evening  (15)according to President's Media Division .

The meeting was held between President Sirisena and Speaker Karu Jayasuriya ,Leaders of United National Front ,Janatha Wimukthi Peramuna  (JVP)Tamil National Alliance  (TNA) and few other party leaders it has been revealed.

If the parties show their majority in Parliament real way according to the Parliamentary tradition,  will accept it according to the Constitution President has informed the Party leaders it has been revealed.

President has also informed the Party leaders to act to restore democracy and respect standing orders in the Parliament.

Prices Of Diesel And Petrol To Be Reduced From Tonight (15)

Prices of Octane -92 and Octane -95
Petrol and Auto and Super Diesel are due to be reduced by Rs.5 each with effect from midnight tonight (15)according to newly appointed Minister of Petroleum Resources Gamini Lokuge.

New Premier Mahinda Rajapakshe has this morning announced at Parliament the Prices of all kinds of  Petrol and Diesel will be reduced from midnight tonight .

The price reduction is being implemented after consulting with Ministry of Finance it has been announced.

Parliamentary Session Had Prorogued Until 21st of November -Later A Decision Was Taken To Convene It Tomorrow (16)

Parliamentary session had prorogued
by the speaker Karu Jayasuriya until 21st of November due to a tense situation occurred at Parliament today .

However Speaker has later announced after a meeting held with Party leaders that the Parliament Will commence at 1.30 p.m tomorrow (16).
