Around 46 Different Private Hospital Charges To Be Regulated Soon--Health Minister

Around 46 different prices charged  by
Private Hospitals will   be regulated soon for the benefit of Patients according to Minister Of Health, Nutrition and Indeginous Medicine Dr.Rajitha Senaratne.

A relative of a patient had phoned me recently and told although their patient had just fainted and admitted to a Private Hospital in Colombo the hospital bill had  risen to Rs.2 million already. So I have taken steps to bring the patient to the Colombo National Hospital for treatment.  "Minister has stressed.

A Person Was Arrested Over Fraudulently Collected Money From.Persons By Promising Jobs In Germany

Special Investigations Unit of the Foreign Employment Bureau has
arrested a person who had fraudulently collected around Rs.1.1 million from some persons by promising  them to provide job opportunities in Germany last Monday  (13)at Uhana in Ampara District.

The suspect who is a resident of Walagambapura in Ampara had indicated his Customes  that he was an employee attached to Prime Minister's office it has  been revealed.

Investigations are currently underway regarding the incident.
