A Female Was Sentenced To Death By The Colombo High Court

Colombo High Court Judge A.A.R Heyyanthuduwa has today (05)sentenced a female to death over a killing of a male at Kirulapana ,Colombo by stabbing in May 1995.

Accordingly the accused M.Saraswathi of Kirulapana was sentenced to death after found guilty over the murder in 2013.Although the High Court had  delivered the judgment against her as found guilty over the murder in 2013 , Court was not able to punish her because she had avoided the court and gone abroad.

However after she had returning to the country recently ,police have arrested her and produced before the court.

A Female Was Rescued And Hospitalized After Attempting To Commit Suicide By Jumping In To The Sea

Residents have rescued and
hospitalized a female around 38 years old after she had  jumping in to the sea from chilaw area in an atempt to commit suicide  this afternoon(05) according to the reports.

The  female was rescued by the residents in the area and adnitted to the Chilaw Base Hospital in critical condition.

The identity of the female has not yet ascertained according to the Police.

Chilaw Police are conducting an investigation to identify the female and tbe cause of her suicide attempt.

A Buddhist Nun Was Passed Away Due To A Road ACCIDENT

Image result for accidentA 65 year old Buddhist Nun (Bhikkuni)was passed away  after colliding with a Bus near the Bus Stand in Embilipitiya it has been reported.

The critically injured Buddhist  Nun had succumbed to her injuries after admission to the Embilipitiya Hospital.The deceased was identified as Bhikkuni Mithrani of Galle resided at  Dhammapradeeparamaya in Alawanguwa area.

The accident occurred while the Bus driver attempting to turn the Bus in to the Bus stand and Embilipitiya Police have arrested the driver regarding the accident.
