Police Arrested A Female Transporting Heroin At Sirigampala

Wennappuwa Police have

today(01)arrested  a 23 year old female while carrying a haul of heroin taken from.a Broker, to   her house at Sirigampala area.

The female had taken the Heroin from a Broker introduced to her by her husband after  visiting him who is in prison over smuggling Heroin.

A special police team including a female Police officer had arrested the female  and recovered the haul of Heroin hidden under her cloths.

She has transported Heroin to her house and sold after packetting them.

Road Development Authority Has Closed Left Side Lanes Of Southern Expressway

The Road Development Authority has closed the left side lanes of Inter exchange between Kokmaduwa and Godagama in Southern Expressway.

This step has been taken to facilitate the maintainance and construction work of the Hambanthota Extension of the Expressway.

President's Secretary Austin Fernando Requested Advise From Attorney General To Issue Unpublicized FACTS Of Bond Scam Report

Related imagePresident's Secretary Austin Fernando has requested an advise from the Attorney General regarding issuing of some facts contains in the Presidential Commission On Central Bank Bond Scam which are not  publicized up to now to other factions it has been reported.

This step has been taken by the President's Secretary as the  MP Dayasiri Jayasekare had requested him some information on the Central Bank Bond Scam under the Right To Information Act.

Without any legal advise cannot issue such facts to other factions President's Secretary has  stated.
