Sri Lankan Female Was Among The Ten Persons Killed Due To A Man Drove A Van In To Pedestrians In Northern Toronto

The deceased Sri Lankan was from Horana ,Kalutara and she lived in Canada alone   it has been revealed.As she holds Canadian Citizenship her funeral is due to be held in Canada according to reports.

Unfortunately  some western media have seen as called the man Alek Minassian ,who was responsible for the brutal killing of pedestrians and arrested by the Police soon after the incident , as Mr. a title uses to address a gentleman not  murderers.

Academic Activities Of Second And Third Year Students In Uva Wellassa University Suspended

The faculties of Uva Wellassa University
have closes indefinitely for second and third year students of the University from today(24) following a brawl occurred at the University canteen among two student groups yesterday(23).

The University authoritirs had appealed the second and third year students to vacate their hostels by tomorrow(25).

Image result for court orderThe Superintendent of Police attached to the Police Anti Narcotic Bureau Neomal Rangajeewa and a Prison Commissioner Emil Ranjan Lamahewa who have been arrested and remanded over the deaths of 27 prison inmates in Welikada prison during a riot in 2012 ,have been again remanded until 08th of May by the Colombo Chief Magistrate today (24).

The suspects were produced before the  Colombo Additional Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake today.
