Four Teenagers Were Injured Due To A Motor Car Accident

Four teenagers were injured and hospitalized after the
Motor Car they were travelling in fallen in to a 150 feet deep precipice on Badulla -Mahiyanganaya main road in wee hours of this morning (15).

The injured teenagers of the ages 14,16 and 18 years were admitted to Badulla General Hospital for treatment.

An eighteen year old student who was driving the Motor Car at the time of the accident do not have a valid driving licence and all the injured teenagers travelled in the Motor car had not informed   their parents of the journey it has been revealed.

They hsve faced the incident when travelling from Hasalaka to Badulla after attending a funeral.The Motor Car struck in to a tree and preventing the car from falling to Badulu Oya according to police.

















A Police Constable Was Killed Due To A Road Accident

A 47 year old police constable attached to Pulasthipura
Police Station was killed after the Motorcycle he was riding in veering off the road and colliding with a tree at chaithyaya road on Madirigiriya-Ambagaswewa road today (15).

The critically injured Police Constable had succumbed to his injuries after admission to Medirigiriya Hospital.

The deceased was a resident of Divulankadawala ,Medirigiriya.Medirigiriya Police are conducting an investigation over the incident.
