A 14 Year Old School Girl Was Killed Due To A Road Accident

A 14 year old school girl was killed after colliding with
a Tipper Truck while she was returning home with her father after attending a  Tution class at Ranna in Kotawaya area (Southern Province) this evening(12).

The body of the deceased girl had been  sent to Hakuruwela Rural Hospital.

Soon after the incident ,the residents of the area had set fire to the Tipper Truck which responsible for the girl's death.



Cabinet Sub Committee Report On Recent Petrol Shortage To Be Handed Over On Tuesday

The report of the three member Cabinet Sub
Committee appointed to look in to the recent Petrol crisis is due to be handed over to the President Maithripala Sirisena on this Tuesday (14).

The three member Cabinet Sub Committee comprising of Ministers Dr.Sarath Amunugama (Chairman),Patali Champika Ranawake and Anura Priyadarshana Yapa had prepared the report based on the findings of preliminary investigations they had carried out regarding the recent Island Wide Petrol shortage.


Three Persons Had Fallen Sick And Hospitalized After Consuming A Mushroom Curry

Three persons including a small child had fallen sick
and hospitalized after consuming a cooked  Mushroom curry prepared from an unknown variety of Mushrooms collected from a jungle area for lunch today (12)in Budugekanda village in  Kandakatiya area(Badulle District).

The three who had fallen sick after consuming the Mushroom Curry had been admitted to Kandakatiya Hospital with the symptom of vomitting .
