A Person Was Killed After Colliding With A Container Truck

A person was killed and a building was severely
damaged after colliding with a container truck which veered  off the road in Kochchikade,Negambo yesterday (04).

The deceased had been identified as a resident of wennappuwa who was sleeping in the pavement.

The driver of the Container Truck travelling from Colombo to chilaw area was arrested by the police over the accident.

Around 150 Houses Were Damaged In Polonnaruwa Due To Strong Winds And Showers

Around 150 houses were damaged due to the heavy
showers prevailed in this evening (04) assisted with strong winds in kaduruwela,Polonnaruwa area.

Due to the strong winds trees hsd fallen on house roofs and some roofs damaged due to the winds it has been reported.

Roofs of some institutions and some advertising boards also fallen as a result of strong winds according to reports.

One person was killed and three others were critically
 injured and hospitalized due to a motor car-three wheeler collision on mulathivu-oddusudan main road last night (03).

The deceased had been identified as a resident of Oddusudan area.
