A Pedestrian Was Killed After Colliding With A Motor Vehicle

A pedestrian was killed last night in Mawathagama area on Kandy -Kurunagala main road after colliding with a motor car traveling from Kurunagala to Kandy .

The critically injured pedestrian had succumbed to his injuries  after admission to Mawathagama Hospital.

 The whereabouts of the  deceased has not yet been determined.The motorist had fled away after the incident and later surrendered to the Katugasthota Police it has been reported.

The Bond Commission which inquire on the central

bank Bond scam had taken over the Computer recorded the calls taken and received by the main suspect of the Bond scam, Perpetual Treasuries company .

After the central bank supending the license of the Perpetual Treasuries following the Bond scam issue the company removed the recording incoming and outgoing calls of the company to a computer and from 06th of June adapting a new system it has been revealed during the proceedings of the Commission held today (29).
