Eighteen Persons Were Injured Due To A Collapse Of Kovil Building

Eighteen persons were injured and hospitalized after
a newly constructing building in Muththumari Amman Kovil in Ariyampathi area,Batticaloa collapsed this evening (20).

The  injured who were attached to the construction work of the building admitted to the Ariyampathi Hospital and 12 of the critically injured had been transferred to the Batticaloa Hospital for further treatment.

The building was collapsed while laying the concrete slab in the sixth floor of the building it has been revealed.

A Boeing Aircraft Flying From Thailand To Qatar Made A Sudden Landing At Katunayake Due To A Smoke

Image result for QATAR AIRWAYSA Boeing Passenger Aircraft belonging to Qatar Airways flying from Thailand to Doha,Qatar has made a sudden landing  in  Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Air Port due to a  smoke  inside the Aircraft  it has been reported.

The 217 passengers and the crew members of  Boeing 787 Aircraft are now being disembarked for safety .Authorities are currently inspecting the Aircraft to find  the cause for the smoke sources said.

Fifty Two Foreign Medical Faculties/Collages Have Been Registered in Sri Lanka Medical Council

Up to now 52 foreign Medical Faculties/Collages which fulfilled standard requirements have been registered in Sri Lanka Medical Council(SLMC) it has been reported.

Most of these Medical Faculties/Collages are from Russia according to sources.

Around 15 Foreign Medical Faculties have  applied for registration in SLMC this year up to now the sources have  further said.
