A 72 Year Old German Buddhist Priest Mysteriously Found Dead In A Marawila Hotel
A 72 year old German national Buddhist Priest mysteriously found dead in a Tourist Hotel in Marawila(North Western Province)area yesterday (14) it has been reported.
The Buddhist Priest Hikkaduwe Pragnaratne who was resided in a Buddhist Temple at Eravur (Eastern Province)has arrived at the Hotel on last Monday(13) according to the Marawila Police.
Before became a Buddhist Priest his name was "R.Wermer" it has been revealed.
The body of the Buddhist Priest has been sent to the Chilaw Hospital for a Post Mortem and Marawila Police had informed the German Embassy in Sri Lanka on the death .

Police Have Temporarily Closed Down The Entry Point To Galle Face
Police have temporarily closed down the entry point to the Galle Face near Lotus Roundabout and Bank Road in Colombo Fort since this morning(15) due to a protest march organized by a group of retired non pensioners of the government service it has been reported.
Due to the protest march a heavy traffic has been reported from the area and Police have requested the motorists to use an alternative routes during travel.
The protestors are planing to handover a petition regarding their demands to the President Maithripala Sirisena it has been revealed.
