Sri Lanka Muslim Council Wants An Inquiry On Aluthgama Clash From IGP

The Muslim Council Of Sri Lanka has written a letter to Inspector General Of Police (IGP)Pujith Jayasundara by stating that the Bodu Bala Sena Organization is again making hatred speeches against the Muslim Community.

The Council has stated that the leader of the Bodu Bala Sena Venerable Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero has threatened a repeat the Aluthgama Violence during a speech he has made in Mahiyanganaya recently.The Muslim Council has urged the IGP to conduct an inquiry on the Aluthgama Incident.

The Wite Elephant Projects Of Former Government To Be Revived- Prime Minister Wikramasinghe

Two of the main White Elephant Projects implemented by former government namely Hambanthota Harbor and Maththala Air Port in Hambanthota which are without ships and planes will be made fully operational to receive more ships and planes Prime Minister has stated.

The Norochchalai Coal Power Plant which is not fully functioned at the moment too will be made fully operational Premier stated at a function held in Kuliyapitiya(In North Western Province) today(25).
