MP Udaya Gammanpila Was Detained And Remanded Until 01st Of July Over A Share Issue

Image result for udaya gammanpilaThe leader of the "Pivithuru Hela Urumaya"MP Udaya Gammanpila was detained by Police Special Investigations Unit at his office today(18) over the selling of 4.1 million shares belonging to Australian Businessman by using fraudulent power of attorney.

He was later remanded until 01st of July after been produced before Colombo Magistrate Court.

The Police Special Investigations Unit has last few months questioned MP Gammanpila several times  regarding the allegation leveled against him .He was accused of fraudulently selling 4.1 million shares belonging to Australian Businessman Brian Shadick which worth Rs.110 million.

Yoshitha Rajapakshe Was Released On Bail Over A Case On Property And House

released on three personal bails by Mount Lavinia Magistrate Court over a property and house
case filed against him.

He was released on three personal bails of Rs.3 million each after being produced before Mount Levi nia Magistrate.

Panadura Police Detained Thirteen Bangaldeshi Nationals For Staying Sri Lanka Illegally

Image result for detainedThe Criminal Investigations Unit of Panadura Police have detained Ten Bangladeshi Nationals for staying  Sri Lanka illegally without valid visas.

Along with these Bangaldeshi Nationals Three other persons who had supported them too taken into custody by the Police it has been reported.

The the thirteen detained persons are due to be produced before Panadura Magistrate Court.
