Two Persons Arrested Along With A Stock Of Fire Arms And Bullets At Habaraduwa

The Habaraduwa (In Southern Province)Police have yesterday (29) arrested two persons from a house at Habaraduwa with five fire arms and sixty nine live bullets in their possession.

Habaraduwa Police have made these arrests under a tip off received by them.

The suspects who are residents of Boralasgamuwa and Unawatuna Areas are due to produce before Galle Magistrate Court.

A Stock Of Explosives Have Been Found From A Well In Mannar

A stock of explosives including A Rocket Propelled Grenade Launcher and several Johnny Mines have been found from a well at Iluppukadavai in Mannar(In Northern Province) according to Police Media Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera.

Johnny Mines were later defused under  a court order the Police Media Spokesman has stated.

This is the second recovery of explosives and ammunition reported within last 24 hour period he has stressed. 

A Suicide Jacket And Stock Of Explosives And Ammunitions Have Arrested In Chavakachcheri Area -One Suspect Was Arrested

The Chavakachcheri Police have today(30) found  a Suicide Jacket and stock of  Explosives  and Ammunition's from  a house at  Chavakachcheri Area (In Jaffna) believe to be  hidden during the war period.

Police have later arrested the suspect believe to be the owner of the house where explosives and ammunition's found  at Kilinochchi Area.

Earler in the day the Police have discovered  a Suicide Jacket,Three Parcels containing 12 Kilo Grammes Of TNT explosives ,Four  Clay more Mines ,Two Packets containing 9 mili meter ammo 100 Bullets and two battery packs use to detonate clay more mines from a house at Maravanpulo Area on A-32 Road at Chavakachcheri Area it has been reported.

Removal Of "Mono Sodium Glutamate(MSG) Contained Food Products From The Market Had Commenced-Director General Of Health Services

The Food and Drug Inspectors throughout the Island have already began to remove the food items that contained Food Additive "Mono sodium Glutamate"popularly known as "MSG " in the Market according to Director General Of Health Services Dr.Palitha Mahipala.

The Ministry Of Health,Nutrition And Indigenous Medicine under the advise of President Maithripala Sirisena has decided to remove the Food Items that contained "MSG" Food Additive from the market as MSG is now using as a pesticide by some local farmers Dr.Mahipala has stated.

A Circular regarding the removal of "MSG" Contained food products from the market has been issued already he has stressed.

"MSG" has contained mainly in Chinese,Japanese and Korean food and it use to get savory and salt flavors.
