Two Naval Coastal Guards Were Arrested For Allegedly Misbehaving At Fort Railway Station

The Police have today(27) arrested two Naval  Coastal Guards attached to the Wellawatta(In Colombo) Coastal Guard Unit of Sri Lanka Navy while they  allegedly misbehaving  at the Colombo Fort Railway Station under the influence of Alcohol.

The Police have arrested the two misbehaved Naval  Coastal  Guards this evening  and produced before Colombo Magistrate Court for further action it has been reported.

A Dead Body Of A 39 Year Old Dambulla Resident Has Been Found From Mahaweli Canal

A dead body of a man has been found today(27) at the Bank of Mahaweli Canal in Dambulla(In Central Province).

The 39 year old deceased who has been identified as a resident of Bulanela in Dambulla had drowned in the Bank Of Mahaweli Canal and died by fallen down into the water while crossing the canal Dambulla Police have said.

Dambulla Police are conducting further investigations on the incident.

Five Persons Including A French Female Had Been Attacked By Wasps At Saradiel Rock In Mawanella

Five Persons including a French Female who had gone to see the famous Saradiel Rock at Uthuwankanda,Mawanalla(In Central Province) had been attacked by Wasps and hospitalized this noon according to Police.

The injured including the French Female her guide and three others were admitted to Mawanella Hospital and their condition is not critical the Police have said.

Mawanella Police are conducting an investigation on the incident .

Eleven Persons Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Van-Tipper Truck Collision At Nelumdeniya

Image result for accident graphicEleven Persons injured and hospitalized when the Van they were travelling in veered off the road and crashed against a Tipper Truck which was parked at Roadside in Dadigama ,Nelumdeniya(In Central Province) Area this morning according to the Dadigama Police.

There were five females among those injured and admitted to Kegalle Hospital for treatment due to the crash the Police have said.

The crashed Van which travelling from Kandy to Colombo at the time of accident veered off the road due to the driver of the vehicle had lost control it has been revealed.

Dadigama Police are conducting further investigations on the incident.
