Sri Lankan Who Attempted To Smuggle Rs.11 Million Worth Gold Jewellary To The Country Has Been Arrested
A Sri Lankan who attempted to smuggle in Rs.11 Million worth Gold Jewellary to the country has been arrested this morning by the Air Port Custom Officers at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port.
The suspect has been arrested with 363 Chains and 07 Bracelets in his possession weighing 2013 .7 Grammes according to the Custom Officers.

Four Persons of the same family have died and Three others injured due to a Tipper Truck toppled on to the Van they were travelling in at Nelumdeniya Area of Colombo-Kandy main road this evening according to the Police.The injured have been hospitalized Police have said.
The deceased were on their way to Kandy from Colombo when the accident has occurred .

International Cricket Council Has Imposed A Ban On Sri Lankan Cricket Opener Kusal Janith-Sports Minister To Ease The Ban
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed a ban on Sri Lankan Cricketer Kusal Janith Perera following the "B" Report of his Urine Sample positive for a banned substance.
The Hard Hitting Opener of the Sri Lankan National Cricket Team has been recalled to the island from New Zealand on 07th of December where Sri Lankan Cricket Team is currently playing a series of matches after finding he is positive for using a banned substance.
Meanwhile Sri Lankan Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekere has said that as Kusal has acted according to his Physiotherapist's Advise ,he will trying to ease the ban imposed on Kusal in his capacity.
