Fuel Prices In The Local Market May Be Reduced Shortly-Minister Of Petroleum And Petroleum Gas

The Minister Of Petroleum And Petroleum Gas Chandima Weerakkody has said today(06) the Prices Of Fuel in the local market may be reduced shortly .
According to the Minister the price of a Barrel of Crude Oil in the World Market now stands at less than US Dollars 50 and it's the lowest price of a Crude Oil Barrel reported after 11 years.]

The Minister has revealed these facts when he visited the Dalada Maligawa in Kandy today(06).

UNP Party Convention To Be Held Tomorrow Under The Patronage Of President Sirisene

The 69th Annual Convention of governing United National Party(UNP) is scheduled to be held tomorrow(06) at the UNP Headquarters in "Sirikotha".President Maithripala Sirisene who is the leader of the United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) will be attended as the chief guest of the Convention.

This will be the first time that A Party Convention will be held in Sri Lanka under the patronage of a leader of another Party.

Prime Minsiter Ranil Wikramasinghe To Visit India For A Three Day Official Visit

The Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe is due to visit India for a Three Day Official Visit from 14-16th of September.

Prime Minister is due to hold talks with Indian Leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his official visit according to the Indian Media Reports.

Meanwhile President Maithripala Sirisene is scheduled to be visited India for a three day Official Visit from 08-10 th Of October to promoting Buddhism as a link between  Asian Countries.
