Island Wide Power Cuts To Be Imposed Tomorrow(22)

There"s a two hours to three hour Island Wide power cuts scheduled to be implemented from 4.30 p.m to 10.30 p.m tomorrow(22) according to Public Utilities Commission .

Ceylon Electricity Board is scheduled to impose these power cuts due to the shutdown of several power plants belonged to the Electricity Board as a result of a fuel shortage it has been reported.

Accordingly the country will be divided in to around 11 Zones and There will be a two hour power cut for zones A B and C and a three hour power cut for the rest of the Zones.

30 Corona Deaths Were Reported Today (21)

A total number of 30 Corona deaths had been reported today (21)increasing the total number of Corona deaths repoorted so far to 16,024 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Out of the deceased majority were over 60 years of age the DGHS has stated .

Another 1206 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (21) Increasing the total number of Corona positives that had been reported s0 far to 638,043 according to Epidemiology Unit.

Accordingly 14,900 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system .

All The Tourists Arrive In Sri Lanka To Get A Covid-Life Insurance Cover

The Sri Lanka Civil Aviation Authority has made all the tourists arrive in Sri Lanka to get Covid life insurance cover compulsory on their arrival the Authority has stated .

Accordingly every tourist with tourist visas and a recognized p[passport arrives in Sri Lanka should be taken the life insurance cover by spending US Dollars 12 and they will be entitled to receive US Dollars 75,000 per month the Aviation Authority has stated ;
