1231 Corona Positives Reported Today (20)

 A total of 1231 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (20) ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 636.837 according to Epidemiology Unit ,

At the moment 23,725 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated .

Only 5816 PCR Tests and 2616 Rapid Antigen Tests had  been performed in the country yesterday (19) the Health Ministry has stated .

Another 25 Corona Deaths had been Reported Today (20)

 Another 25 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (20) Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 15,994 according to Director General Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 17 females and 08 males had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 13 were over 60 years of age and 12 were belonged to 30 -60 year age group it has been revealed .

A Female Fallen Into A Mine in Galle Had Been Rescued

 A Female who had  fallen into a 45 feet deep mine at kotiyakanda area in Miriswatte ,Ampegama (Galle District ) had been rescued by police and residents in the area today (19).

The rescued female who is around 50 years old has been admitted to Karapitiy

a Teaching Hospital in a critical condition for treatment  it has been reported.

Baddegama Police which investigate on the incident believes that the female may have accidentally  fallen into the mine yesterday (18)

1273 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (19)

 A Total of 1273 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (19) increasing the total number of  Corona positives reported so far to 635,606 according to Epidemiology Unit.

Accordingly 22,746 Corona positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine centers and under home care system the Unit has stated .

Twenty Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (19)

 Another 20 Corona deaths had been reported today (19) In the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 15,969 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 12 males and 08 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 17 were over 60 years of age and 02 were belonged to 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .One of the deceased was under 30 years of age it has been revealed .

Meanwhile Sri Lanka's Corona death rate still stands as 2.52 percent according to Health Authorities .
