DGHS Has Announced Relaxation Of Anti Corona Health Guidelines Amidst Corona Surge

Although there's a slight increase in the number of Corona infections reported daily in the Country at Present ,The Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) had revised the Anti Corona Health Guidelines by easing restrictions imposed on weddings ,Office Meetings and dining in Restaurants with immediate effect .

Accordingly DGHS Dr .Asela Gunawardane had announced that the total number of guests that can be attended to a Wedding party had been increased to 100 from 50 guests indoors and 150 if the function is at outdoors .However consumption of Liquor will not be allowed in Wedding parties the DGHS has stated .

The number of people dining at a Restaurant at once had been increased to 75 and a maximum number of 100 persons can attend an outdoor party according to the new revisions announced ,For an office meeting maximum number of 150 guests can be attended .,

The travel restrictions imposed island wide during 10 p.m to 4 a.m had been removed from today as well DGHS has stated ,

By relaxing Corona Health Guidelines amidst the surge of Corona cases in the Country Sri Lanka becomes the only country in the region that easing the restrictions whilst there's a corona spread in the country the Health Trade Unions had stated .

561 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (25)

A Total of 561 Corona Positives had been reported in the Country today (25) according to Epidemiology Unit .With this number the total number of Corona Positives that had been reported so far in the country had been increased to 536,645 the Unit has stated .

At the moment 19,602 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and Under Home Care System it has been revealed .

29 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (25)

Another 29 Corona Positives had been reported today (25) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,640 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 17 females and 12 males had died today due to Corona infection the DGHS has announced .Out of the deceased 22 were over 60 years of age and 06 were belonged to the 30-60 age group it has been revealed .One of the deceased was under 30 years old .

Running Of Trains Within Provinces From Tomorrow (25)Is In Dilemma ?

The running of Trains within Provinces which is scheduled to begin tomorrow (25) is in dilemma due to non issuance of Health Guidelines for train passengers according to Department of Railways ,

According to the Health Ministry officials those who have Season tickets for the Month of August can travel through Trains within Provinces from Tomorrow (25) .However Public had avoided purchasing Season tickets before August due to Corona restrictions authorities have stated .

Meanwhile Primary sections of All schools are also scheduled to be re opened from tomorrow .
