782 Corona Positives Reported Today (05)- 6479 "PCR " Tests Performed Yesterday (04)

A Total of 782 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (05).raising the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 522,022 according to Health Promotions Bureau .

At the moment 31, 009 Corona Positives are being treated at hospitals /qurantine centers and ubder home care system the Bureau has stated .

According to the Health Promotions Bureau only 6479 "PCR " Tests and 2481 "Rapid Antigen " tests had been performed in the Country yesterday (04).

Another 40 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (05)

Another 40 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (05) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported in the country to 13,142 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) ,

Accordingly 22 males and 18 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has announced ,Out of the deceased 36 were over 60 years of age and 04 were belonged to 30-60 year age group .

Passport Office To Privide Linited Services Through Head Office And Branch Offices

Department of Immigration and Emigration has decided to provide limited number of services for the customers through it's head office at Battaramulla and branch offices due to the current Corona Pandamic ,

According to the Department no customer who didnt register in the Department s website and got an appointment will be allowed to enter the premises of its Battaramulla head office and Branch offices from today (05).
