Landslide Warnings Issued To Six Districts

Land slide waning has been issued to Six Districts in the country including Colombo District   Due to the adverse weather pattern prevailing in the country at present according to National Building Research Organization (NBRO) .

Accordingly Colombo ,Galle ,Kalutara ,Kegalle ,Matara and Rathnapura districts had been identified as landslide risk areas the Organization has stated .

Those who are living in mountainous and slope areas in those six Districts are being advised to be vigilant over Land slide signs NBRO has stressed .

Three Died Due To Adverse Weather Pattern

 Three deaths had been reported due to the adverse weather pattern prevailing throughout the island these days according to Disaster Management Center .

Accordingly more than 2500 families in 07 districts are being affected due to the adverse weather pattern it has been reported .

Another 1306 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From.Hospitals

 Another 1306 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from hospitals and treatment centers today (14) according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingjy 11,0108. corona positives had been recovered and discharged from hospitals and treatment centers so far the Center has stated .

 After finishing Vaccinating the public in Western province with Anto Corona Vaccine ,Vaccine will be given to the public in Kamdy ,Kurunagala and Ratnapura Districts according to Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi.

At the moment Sri lanka is using Sinopharm and Sputnik -V Anti Corona vaccines under  the Corona vaccine programme and Oxford. -Astraseneca "Covishield " vaccine doses to inject as the second dose for those who had received the first dose of that vaccine .

31 Corona Deaths And 2269 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (14)

 Another 2269 Corona positives and 31 Corona deaths had been reported today (14)according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center. 

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives reported so far had risen to 138,085 and the total number of Corona deaths had risen to 932 the Center has stated .The 31 Corona deaths reported today is the most number of Corona deaths reported on a single day it has been revealed .

At the moment 27,054 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and Treatment centers .

24 Corona Deaths Reported Yesterday (14)

 Another 24 Corona deaths had been reported in the country yesterday (13),increasing the total number of Corona deaths  reported so far in the country to 892 according to National Covid Prevention Center.

Accordingly 15 males and 09 females resided in outstation areas and Colombo district including Borella and Ragama areas had died due to Covid Pneumonia and Complications of non communicable diseases the Center has stated 

The deceased were of the ages 40-87 and majority of them were over 61 years old.

2249 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (13)

 Another 2249 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (13)) increasing  The total number of Corona positives reported so far in the country to 135,796 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

At the moment 26,126 Corona Positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and quarantine centers the Center has stated .
