Isolation Of A Police Division And 11 Other Areas Had Bern Lifted This Morning (04)

 Isolation imposed at 11 Rural Development Officer (Grama Niladari Wasam) areas and a police division in Colombo and Gampaha Districts  had been lifted since 5 a m this morning (04) due to the containing  the spreading of corona virus  in those areas according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly Isolation imposed at Modara Police division ,Hulftsforf East and west Rural devolopment areas of Keselwatte Police division Demalawatta Area at Pitakotte in Mirihana police division and 08 other areas in Gampaha and kiribathgoda areas had been lifted since this morning .

403 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (03)

 A total of 403 Corona Positives had been reported today (03)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 44,774 according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly all these Corona positives were contacts of the Corona positives reported earlier  belongs to the Minuwangoda ,Paliyagoda and Prisons corona clusters .The total number of Corona positives reported from these. clusters so far had risen to 41,031 the Center has stated .

At the moment 7311 Corona positives are being treated at government hospitals and treatment Centers .

Two Corona Deaths Reported Today (03)

Another 02 Corona deaths had been reported today (03)increasing the total number of Corona deaths to 213 According to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly two females of the ages 57 and 76 years old resided at Walipanna and Colombo -15 have died whilst receiving treatment at Homagama Base Hospital the center has stated .the 57 year old female has died from.the complications of heart ailment caused by corona infection and the 76 year old female had died due to the complications of heart ailment and epilepsy caused by corona infection .  

Six Ukaranian Nationals Arrived In Sri Lanka As Tourists Tested Positive For Corona Virus

 A total of 06 tourists belonging to a group of 180 Tourists arrived in Sri lanka  from corona hit  Ukraine last Monday (28) had been  tested positive for Corona virus it has been revealed 

The group of Tourists arrived in From Ukraine are being currently quarantined at an undisclosed hotel. For 14  days  need to under go  another '"PCR "test after the quarantine process before allowing them to leave other places  

Meanwhile a group of 22 Ukrainians were allowed to visit mirissa in Matara today (03) it has been reported.

562 Corona Positives Were Recovered And Discharged From Hospitals Yesterday (02)

 Another 562 Corona positives were recovered and discharged from hospitals and treatment centers yesterday (02) according to  Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly  36,717 Corona positives had been discharged from hospitals after full recovery .
