Colombo National Hospital Kitchen Had Been Closed After 23 Workers Tested Positive For Corona Virus

 The Kitchen attached to Colombo National Hospital had been closed down yesterday (08)after 23 workers in the kitchen testing positive for Corona virus it has been reported .

The Corona positive workers had been identified at the ,"PCR " Tests performed on them yesterday .These infected workers had been admitted to hospital and their close contacts are being quarantined .

Due to the closure of Hospital Kitchen the resident patients of the Hospital are being  received packetted rice from outside according to reports.

Another Corona Death Reported Today

 Another Corona Death had been reported today (09)increasing the total number of Corona deaths in the country to 144 according to Epidemeology Unit. 

Accordingly a 62 year old male resident of Colombo -10 had died at Mulleriyawa Hospital after transferring him from a private hospital due to the pneumonia fever caused by Corona infection .

542 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged (09) After Full Recovery

 Another 542 Corona positives had been discharged from Hospitals and treatment centers today (09) after full recovery according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Majority of them which is 78 were released from Bingiriya Treatment Center it has been. Revealed .

Up to now 21,800 Corona positives had been discharged from Hospitals and treatment centers after full recovery it has been revealed .
