35 Sri Lankans Stranded In Seachelles Were Brought Back To Sri Lanka

Thirty five Sri Lankan nationals

stranded in Seachelles due to the Corona pandanic had been brought back to Sri Lanka this evening (23)through a special Air Seachelles flight accotding to sources .

The group of Sri lankans along with their luggage had been disinfected by the Sri lanka Airforce personal at the Katunayake International Airport. Later they were transported to quarantine centers for quarantine following a health checkup at Airport health office.

Twenty One Corona Positives Had Been Reporred Today (23)

Twenty one Corona positives had been

reported today (23)until 10.46 p.m ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported ftom Sri Lanka to 1089 according to Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly out of the first seventeen corona positives reported in the country today fifteen were Navy personal and two were Sri lankans arrived from Dubai and undergoing quarantine at Quarantine centers .

At the moment 420 Corona positives are being treated in Government hospitals along with 101 patients Suspected as Corona positives .

All Island Curfew Imposed In At Present Including Colombo And Gampaha Districts To Be Lifted On Next Tuesday (26) Morning

Government has decided to lift the

Island wide curfew currently being imposed in all Districts including the Colombo and Gampaha Districts on Next Tuesday (26)Morning (26) the President"s Mrdia unit has today (23) announced .

Accordingly the long standing two month old continuous curfew imposed in Colombo and Gampaha Districrs too is scheduled to be lifted on tuesday morning .However except in these Two districts ,district to district travel will be allowed in All other districts the Media unit has stated .

From next Tuesday daily curfew in all Districts will be imposed from 10 p.m to 4 a.m until further notice the Press release issued by the President"s Media unit has stated.

Earlier Government has imposed Island wide curfew from 8 p.m tonight until Tuesday Morning whilst the Curfew imposed in Colombo and Gampaha Districts is still in .
