Landslide Warnings Issued To 09 Districts

Due to heavy showers that had been
experienced during  last 24 hours in the island National Building Research Organization (NBRO)had issued landslide warnings to 09 Districts .

Accordingly NBRO had issued landslide warnings to Galle ,Matara ,Ratnapura ,Kegalle ,Kurunagala,Colombo ,Kalutara ,Matale  and Kandy districts and people in tbese areas should be vigilant over landslide signs these days it has been announced .

Low Preassure Area Developed In Bay Of Bengal To Increase The Showers

Due to the low preasure area currently
developing in South Eastern part of Bay of Bengal ,Heavy showers exceeding 200 mili meters will be experienced in some parts of Southern ,Western ,Sabaragamuwa and Central.provinves within next 12 hours according to the Meteorology Department .

Met Depsrtment has also advised the fishermen to avoid going for fisheries activities as seas around the country will be rough due to the low presssure area developed in Bay of Bengal .Those  fishermen who are already in seas are being advised to return ashore or to a secure place .

 Ten Corona virus positives  had been
identified yesterday(14)through 1489 "PCR "tests performed during the day according to the Health Promotions Bureau .

From the period 18th of February to 14th of May 41,118 "PCR " had been performed in the country and identified 935 Corona positives .   

Ten Corona Positives Reported Today (15)

Ten Corona virus positives had been
reported today (15) until 11.30 p.m according to the Epidemeology Unit .
   
Accordingly the total number of Corona positives that had been reported so far  has been increaesed to 935 .

At the moment 449 Corona positives and 112 patients suspected as infected with Corona virus are being treated in Governmemt Hospitals it has been revealed .

32 Corona Positives Had Discharged From Hospitals Today (15)

Thirty two Corona virus positives had
discharged from Hospitals where they had been treated after fully recovered around 10 a.m today (15) according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives that had been discharged from hospitals so far has been increased to 477 .

At the moment 439 Corona virus positives are being treated at Government hospitals .
