MP Ranjan Ramanayake Filed A Motion Against Releasing Audio Clips To Some Media

National Party(UNP) MP Ranjan Ramanayake had today (08) filed a motion before Nugegoda Magistrate U.K Palpola saying he was prejudiced due to the releasing of Audio CD's taken in to custody by the Police from his house at Madiwela ,to some Media .
After considering the motion Nugegoda Magistrate had ordered the Colombo Crimes Division to appear before the court on 17 th of January to reveal facts regarding the issue .

Nugegoda Magistrate Had Imposed A Foreign Travel Ban On Former CID Director Shani Abeysekare
Nugegoda Magistrate U.K Palpola had
today (08)imposed a foreign travel ban on former Director of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID ) Senior Supirintendent of Police (SSP) Shani Abeysekare who had been interdicted yesterday (07)accordance to a request made by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD).
Former CID Director SSP Abeysekare who had handled many top level cases related to murders ,abductions and corruption had been interdicted by Acting IGP Chandana Wkramaratne yesterday over telephone comversations he was alleged as made with former Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake .
However there are no reports that an intial inquiry regatding the charges levelled against SSP Abeysekare has been conducted prior to his interdiction .
Meanwhile National Police Commission which suddenly lost it's independent stand recently has ordered the acting IGP Wikramaratne to submit a report on Former CID director Shani Abeysekare's involvement on revealing details of several CID inquiries comducted by him during the Telephone conversations had with MP Ramanayake .
The audio tapes including these telephone conversations are being circulated in Social Media which are famous for spreading Gossips these days .However no inquiry is being conducted to find out whether these audio clips are real or not according to sources .

Fourty Five Students And Teachers In Nuwara Eliya Had Sent To Hospital.Due To A Wasp Attack
Fourty five persons including fourty
two Students and three teachers attached to an intenational school at Nuwara Eliya had been injured and hospitalized today(08) due to a wasp attack .
The injured had been admitted to Nuwara Eliya General Hospital for treatment and their condition is not critical according to reports .
The incident occurred when the Wasps of the Wasp nest in a School Building had been provoked and attacked the students and the teachers in the school playground after a ball used by students to play had stuck at the nest .
Nuwara Eliya police have ordered the Wildlife office in Nuwara Eliya to remove the Wasp nest with immediatre effect .
