Chicken Pox Is Spreading In Many Parts Of Sri kanka

Accordingly the Chicken pox patients have been reported in Colombo, Maharagama.Seeduwa,Gampaha,Matale and Kandy areas the Doctors have revealed.As the Disease itself cured without medicines people are not willing to seek medical treatment and  as a result the exact number of patients reported from the island cannot be counted Doctors stressed .

Chickenpox often starts without the classic rash, with a fever, headache, sore throat, or stomachache. ... The rash begins as many small red bumps that look like pimples or insect bites. They appear in waves over 2 to 4 days, then develop into thin-walled blisters filled with fluid.

An elderly persons and pregnant females may have got side effects due to the  disease Docrirs have warned .

An Island Wide Wild Elephant Census To Be Conducted On 13th And 14th Of September

An Island Wide Wild Elephant census is
scheduled to be conducted on 13 th and 14th of September at 2229 locations where Wild Elephants are roam in according to Wild Life Conservation Department.

Around 7316 Survey officials are due to take part of this Island wide census scheduled to be conducted first time after 2011 Census on Wild Elephants  it has been revealed.

During the Wild Elephant census in 2011 it has been revealed that 5879 Wild Elephants are there in Sri Lanka . 

Yala National Wild Life Park Has Been Closed For A Month Period

Yala National Wild Life Park will be closed from today  (01) until 31 st of this month due to the dry weather condition prevailing in the area and maintenance work of the park according to Wild Life Conservation Department.

Meanwhile All National parks will be closed from 13 th to 15 th of this month due to the scheduled Island Wide Wild Elephant Census the Department has announced. 

A Motorcyclist Was Killed Due To A Motorcycle -Private Bus Collision

A 47 year old Motorcyclist had been
killed due to A Motorcycle -Private Bus Collision at Wanduramba in Galle -Mapalagama road yesterday (31).

The critically injured Motorcyclist who was a resident of Wanduramba area  had succumbed to his injuries when admitted to  Karapitiya Teaching Hospital .

Wanduramba Police have arrested the Bus driver over the incident.
