Police have arrested six Indian
Nationals over staying in Sri Lanka without valid visas at Nuwara -Eliya and Kotahena areas yesterday (03).

Accordingly Five Indian Nationals without vIsas had been arrested by Nuwara -Eliya Police at Nuwara Eliya yesterday (03)and scheduled to be produced before Nuwara- Eliya Magistrate Court today (04).

Kotahena Police have arrested an Indian National without visas at Kotahena yesterday and he is due to be produced before Hulftsdorf Magistrate Court today .

All Government Schools Are Due To Be Re Opened On This Monday (06)

All government schools closed for
Sinhala /Hindu New Year holidays on 05th of April are due to be open for the second term on this Monday (06)according to Ministry Of Education .

Government schools will be provided with additional security due to the recent Easter Sunday bombings the Education MinistRyan has assured.

A special search operation is being carried out in all Government schools scheduled to be open on Monday by Army since yesterday (03)and Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam was also present during a search carried out in Colombo schools it has been reported.

Schools were scheduled to be re-opened on 22nd of April and it was postponed until 24 th due to the Easter Sunday bombings .However that date again postponed until 29th of April and than until 06th of May due to the security situation .

Meanwhile some Unions representing Government School Principals have opposed the government decision to re-open Government schools under present situation. The unions have stressed one Police officer scheduled to be provided to Government schools for  security is not enough .

All private Catholic Schools however are being postponed the re opening until further notice accordance to the request of Colombo Archbishop Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith .All Muslim Schools are due to be re opened in June and All state universities which scheduled to be re opened on 06th of May scheduled to be opened in different dates during next week it has been reported. 

Financial Administrator Of Banned Thowheeth Jamaath Organization Arrested At Gampola

The Financial Administrator of the banned Extremist group 'National Thowheeth Jamaath" Orga
nization which carried out recent Easter Sunday bombings, Abdul Sakthar Mohommad had been arrested by the Security forces yesterday (03) with more than Rs. 10 million worth money that had been exchanged between the Organization members at a rented house in Gampola area.

Forces have also recovered around 200 receipts and 25 Bank receipts on financial deals of the Jamaath Organization in possession of the suspect. Mobile phones, Laptops, 02 National Identity cards,Video tapes of ISIS activities, Video tapes of Ethnic fights in Kandy,a tape on a female advised the Jamaath members to be on alert after the Easter Sunday bombings and video tapes of Scenes of Easter Sunday bombings telecasted over T.v had been recovered from the house the suspect had stayed in .

The raided house is located near the House of a shoe shop owner who is a relative of the two suicide bomber brothers arrested whilst staying at His shoe shop in Gampola .
