Police Commission Has Cancelled The Teansfer Of Colombo Crimes Division OIC
National Police Commission has
yesterday (14)ordered Inspector General of Police (IGP)to cancel the transfer order of OIC attached to Colombo Crimes Investigations Division Chief Police Inspector Neville de silva to Police headquarters .
Police Commission has made this order after considering the appeal submitted by Chief Police Inspector Neville de silva regarding his transfer order made by IGP Without getting aporoval of the commission .
IGP has transferred the OIC Silva to the Police Headquarters to carryout normal duties there.
Police Commission has also cancelled the transfer order of OIC attached to Police Headquarters Chief police inspector G.V Janaka who had been transferred to Colombo Crimes division to replace OIC Neville De silva there .

Two Motorcyclists Killed Due To A Road Accident
Two 25 year old Motorcyclists had been
killed after the Motorcycle they were riding in colliding with a rare part of a Van travelling in front of them and ran over by a bus on Chilaw-Colombo main road last morning (14).
The critically injured Motorcyclists had succumbed to their injuries before admission to Hospital .
The incident occurred when the Motorcycle attempted to overtake a Van in front and as a result Motorcycle had collided with the rare part of the van and toppled over the road.Then the Motorcyclists were run over by the Bus arrived from opposite direction it has been revealed.
The deceased were residents of Anamaduwa area.
Madampe police have arrested the Van and Bus drivers over the incident.

Galle Magistrate Jailed 14 Chinese Nationals Who Had Been Arrested Over illegally Staying Here For One Year

Kekunawala has yesterday (14) sentenced 14 Chinese Nationals arrested whilst working as helpers at a Building Construction site in Dadella ,Galle adter arriving in sti lanka with tourist visas, one year prison sentence each and fined them Rs.50,000 each.
The 14 suspects had been arrested by Galle police on 02nd of March .Afterwards they had been remanded until yesterday (14).The suspects were sentenced one year imprisonment after being produced before Galle Magistrate court yesterday .
If the suspects failed to pay the fine they will receive an extra month imprisonment court has ordered.
