Computer Emergency Response Team Advised Sri Lankan Computer Users To Be Vigilant On Ransomware Cyber Attack
The computer emergency response team of Sri Lanka
has advised Sri Lankan computer users to be extremely vigilant as the Ransomware cyber attack which locked computer systems in many countries might be targeted Asian countries including Sri Lanka in their next round .
Do not open suspicious mails receive to the mail accounts , save all the importent files in the computer to an external drive as well as update the Anti virus guard in the computer to protect from the cyber attack according to the Computer energancy response team .
Microsoft conpany have introduced a software to protect computer systems from the Ransomware cyber attack however most countries not able to update it in time it has been revealed .
A group called shadow brokers has launched this cyber attack last Friday (12) and the group reported as charging ransoms to repair the damage done to the computer systems .

Two Youths Were Killed Due To A Sand Tractor-Train Collision In Vavuniya
Two youths were killed due to a Sand transporting
tractor they were travelling in collided with the" Yal Devi" train travelling from Vavuniya to Jaffna in a railway crossing at puliyankulama,Vavuniya this noon (15).
The deceased had been identified as residents of puliyankulama,Vavuniya.
The accident was occurred when the sand transporting tractor tried to cross the rail way crossing at the time the signal lights were not functioning.

Two Persons Were Killed And One Injured Due To A Road Accident On Ingiriya -Meepe Main Road
Two Persons were killed and one was injured and
hospitalized after the Motor Car they were travelling in veering off the road and crashed into a telecommunication post and a wall in angampitiya area on Ingiriya-meepe main road in the wee hours of this morning (15).
The injured person had been admitted to the Homagama Hospital for treatment .
The vehicle carried a group of people who attended a wedding had met with the accident while returning home it has been reported.
Police have suspected that the driver of the motor car may be under an influence of liquor at the time of the accident .
