Fifteen High Ranked Police Officers Have Been Transferred

Fifteen high ranked police officers have been transferred with immediate

 effect as per the approval of National Police Commission.

Accordingly four Deputy Inspector Generals of Police(DIG), five Assistant Supwrindents Of Police (ASP's) and six  Senior Superintendents Of Police (SSP's) have been transferred according to the Police department.

A Person Was Killed And Two others Were Critically Injured Due To A Motor Car Accident In Southern Expressway

A person was killed and two others were critically injured and

hospitalized due to a Motor car they were travelling in collided with a wall ,a tree and a lamp post near the Matara main road in the wee hours of this morning(11).

The injured were admitted to the Matara General Hospital for treatment.

The motor car faced this accident soon after departed from Matara-Godagama entry of the Southern Expressway it has been revealed.The deceased had been identified as a resident of Godagama in Matara.
