A  deer was killed after colliding

with a moving Lorry on Damana-Ekgaloya main road last evening(22).

The  deer was killed after it crashed into the lorry through the front window  after colliding with the vehicle.

The driver of the lorry was injured due to the accident  and admitted to the Damana Hospital for treatment it has been Reported .

A Youth Has Died After Drowning In Seas Of Kokilai

A youth involved in Fisheries Industry has died after drowning in the seas of Kokilai in Mulathivu area(North) it has been reported.

The youth who went to the sea by  a Boat has drowned  while swimming towards the shore.

The deceased has been identified as a 22 year old reside in Batticaloa District.
His postmortem is due to conduct today(23).

A Worker Attached To A Construction Site In Colombo Has Died After Fallen To The Ground

A casual worker attached to a building which is under construction in Duplication Road at  Colpetty (Colombo) has died after fallen to the ground from the building this morning(23) it has been reported.

The deceased who was a resident in Jaffna had succumbed to his injuries after admitting to a Private Hospital in Colombo in critical condition.

Ministry Of Health Has Distributed 30 Imported Fogging Machines To Three Districts In Western Province

Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine has yesterday (23) distributed 30 fogging machines imported  from Germany to three Districts in Western Province for the use of Dengue Control activities.

Accordingly Colombo,Gampaha and Kalutara Districts were given 10 fogging machines each for Dengue Control activities.One fogging machine worth around Rs.160,000 the Ministry has stated.

The Health Ministry has planned to recruit around 500 field officers urgently  to the Western Province for fogging and house inspection activities it has been reported.
