Swiss Female Officer Ordered To Send For A Phychiatric Examination

Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne has ordered last friday (13)to

send  female Swiss Embassy Visa officer Garnia Bannister Francis who alleged as abducted by a group of persons ,for a Phychiatric examination to be conducted by a Special Phchiatric Team and produced a Report of it to the court on this Tuesday (17).

Colombo Chief Magistrate has also extended the oversees travel ban imposed on the Visa officer francis until 17 th of December.

Meanwhile Criminal Investigations Department (CID)has announced that the questioning of Swiss Embassy visa officer regarding her complaint on abduction are still underway .

State Minister S.B Disaanayake meanwhile has stated in Kandy today that an Embassy of a friendly country was behind the abduction case of the female Swiss Embassy visa officer and truth will reveals if the vehicle and driver related to the incident got aressted .

However the Minister of Foreign affairs and several cabinet ministers of the government have earlier  denied the abduction story by saying it's a fabricated one.

Two Persons Arrested Over Revealing White Van Abductions Are Being Held For Questioning -CID

(CID)is currently being held the two persons who were arrested over participating in a press briefing conducted by former Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne on White Van abductions occurred  before 2015,under 72 hour detention order .

The suspects who had been arrered at Mahara last morning(14) are being currently held for questioning on the White van abductions revealed by them during the press briefing of Dr.Senaratne ,Under a 72 hour detention order of Assistant Supirintendent Of Police(ASP) according to the CID.

The suspects are due to be produced before the court tomorrow(16).

A Motor Car Had Been Severely Damaged Due To A Motor Car -Train Collision

A Motor Car had been severely

damaged after colliding with a Train travelling from Jaffna to Colombo whilst attempting to cross from a Railway crossing in Sangathanei area ,Chavakachcheri ,Jaffna last noon (14).

However everyone in the Motorcar have been escaped unharm it has been revealed .

The incident occured due to the negligence driving  of the  Motor car driver accordance to  Chavakachcheri Police .

Thirty Five Persons Had Been Injured Due To A Wasp Attack In Agarapathana Area

Thirty five persons including children

playing in a ground and residents near by had been injured and hospitalized due to a wasp attack near a public grounds in Agarapathana area ,Nuwara Eliya last evening (14).

The injured had been admitted to the Agarapathana State Hospital for treetment and twenty five of them had left the hospital after receiving OPD Treatment .Another 10 were admitted to wards for further treatment .

The wasps had been provoked  affer their nest being attacked by a Hawk   it has been  reported.

Wasps had attacked the residents of the area and the children playing in the public ground .The wasps had been dispersed by fogging.

CID Have Arrested Two Persons Over Addresing A Press Briefing On White Abductions

(CID) officials have last night(13)arrested two persons at a cafe in Mahara area over  participating a press briefing regarding White Van abductions conducted
 by the former Health Minister  Dr.Rajitha Senaratne on 11 th of November in Colombo.

CID Officers have arrested Anthoney Dougles Fernando and Athula Sanjaya Madanayake who had been named as a White Van driver and a victim abducted by a White Van it has been reported.

CID had recently informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate that an investigation is currently underway regarding the media briefing held in Colombo regarding white Van abductions before 2015 .

The suspects are due to be produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate to obtain a detention order to.question them further over the media briefing
