A Person.Was Arrested With 25 Grammes Of Kerala Cannabis

Sri Lanka Navy along with Police have
arrested a 22 year old person whilst carrying 25 Grammes   of Kerala Cannabis to be sold at Muththur area yesterday  (14).

The suspect who is a resident of Muththur is a drug smuggler in.the area it has been revealed .

The suspect along with the stock of Kerala Cannabis taken in to custody in possesion of the suspect are due to be produced before the court.

A Youth Was Injured After A Motor Car Fallen Down To A 100 Feet Deep Precipice

A Youth had been critically injured and
hospitalized after the high speed Motor Car he was traveling in veering off the road and fallen down a 100 feet deep precipice at Rosalla ,Watawala in Hatton -Colombo main road today  (15).

The injured had been admitted to the Nawalapitiya Base Hospital for treatment. Another two youth who were  travelling  with the injured  escaped unhurt .

The Fallen Motor Car had been recovered whilst stuck in a Tree located upper part of a entry road to the Rosalla Railway station.

Construction work of the 356 meter tall Tower with 17 storyes   began in 2012 and  was 80 percent funded by Exaim Bank of China .Some features of the Lotus Tower built of  a shape of Lotus flower  are Banquet halls,Luxury hotels,Restuarent s  Offices, Meeting Hslls and 600 Seat revolving restuarent .
The Tower's sources of earnings  are  tourism and Antenna purchasing .

Travel Restrictions Imposed Due To Six Vehicles Colliding Each Other In Southern Expressway

A Heavy traffic has been  prevailed in Southern
Expressway this evening  (15)as a result of six vehicles including two buses collided with each other near the Kahathuduwa area of the Expressway. Two persons had been injured and hospitalized due to the  accident which occurred as a result of the heavy showers prevailing in it has been revealed.

Due to the incident Police have restricted vehicles travelling towards Colombo to one lane .

Meanwhile the travel restrictions imposed due to the accident had been lifted this evening after the situation returns to normal.

Polce have advised the Motorists to restrict the vehicle speed to 60 Kilo meters per hour when travelling in Expressways due to the heavy showers prevailing in .
