A 42 Year Kurunagala Hospital Doctor Arrested Over Earning Assets In Suspicious Means Handed Over To The CID

The 42 year old doctor Seigu Siyabdeen
Mohommad Safi  attached to Kurunagala teaching Hospital who was arrested by the Kurunagala Police last night (24) over earning assets in suspicious means had been handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department  (CID) today (25)for further investigations.

The suspected doctor who was arrested last night at his residence in Kurunagala will be questioned over the way he earned his assets and regarding the assets he owned according to Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekare .

A Boat Carrying 41 Passangers Had Been Taken In To Custody Whilst Sailing To New Zealand Illegally

Sri Lanka Navy have taken in to
custody 41 Sri Lankans who had attempted to sail illegally to New Zealand from a multi sectoral boat in the sea area of Galle yestetrday  (24).)

The Boat carrying 41 passengers including 32 males ,05 children and 04 females left from Chilaw area had been taken in to custody by the Sri Lanka Naval ship "Nandimithra" in 365 nautical miles away from Galle area it has been revealed .Later the boat along with the Passangers aboard had been taken to Southern Naval command  base.

The Passangers of the boat are due to be handed over to the Harbor Police after questioning.

Suspect Who Had Left A Hand Grenade Parcel In A Primary School Handed Over To The Colombo Crimes Division

The suspect arrested over left a Hand
Grenade parcel near a building in a Primary school in Dikhena area, Baduraliya had been handed over to the Colombo Crimes Division  (CCD) by the Baduraliya Police it has been reported .

The 32 year old suspect Pavithra Madushanka who is a resident of Hadigalla, BaduaLiya had been arrested by the Police over leaving a parcel contains 13 Hand Grenades in a Primary school premises .

China To Lift The Foreign Travel Ban Imposed Oqn Sri Lanka

China has decided to lift the Travel Ban
imposed on Sri Lanka following  the
Easter Sunday Bomb attacks .The decision
 has been taken to lift the Travel Ban imposed on Sri Lanka after the talks held between Chinese Ambassador in Sri Lanka and Minister of Tourism and Christian Affairs John Amarathunga today (25)in Colombo it has been revealed.

Both Prime Minister Ranil Wilramasinghe and President Maithripala Sirisena have requested the Foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners in Sri Lanka recently to lift the travel ban and Travel restrictions imposed over Sri Lanka following the Easter Sunday attacks as the security situation here is now stable .
China had imposed a travel ban in Sri Lanka soon after the Easter Sunday attacks .Chinese too among the victims of Easter attacks and  a part of the Chinese investment Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo had been severely   damaged due to the incident .

Shangri-La Hotel had closed down  Temporarily after the attacks .
