Power Supply To Many Areas In South Had Collapsed This Morning
Power supply to the Few areas in Southern Province has been collapsed this morning(13) fro
few hours due to a breaking down of an Electricity line transferring Electricity from New Laxapana Power Plant to Grid Sub Station in Balangoda area it has been reported.
However later the Power supply in these areas had been restored by the authorities.
According to the Ministry Of Power And Energy Power supply has been collapsed in ,Embilipitiya ,Deniyaya,Weligama and Hamnbanthota areas due to this .

A 35 Year Old Female Assistant Manager Had Committed Suicide By Jumping From A Hospital Building
A 35 Year old Female worked as a Assistant Manageress attached to the Human Resources
Management Unit of Nawaloka Private Hospital in Colombo had committed suicide last Thursday (11) morning by jumping from the 09th floor of the Hospital building it has been reported.
The cause of the suicide has not yet been revealed.

A Female Was Killed And Five Others Injured Due To A Road Accident
A 48 year old female had been killed and five persons had been injured and hospitalized after
the Van theywere travelling in colliding with a Fuel Bowser at Arachchikattuwa area on Puttalam-Colombo main road in the wee hours of this morning (13).
The injured including the Driver of the Fuel Bowser had been admitted to the Chilaw Base Hospital for treatment .
The deceased had been identified as a 48 year old female resided in Wellawatte area.
The incident occurred as the driver of the Van not been able to control the speed of the vehicle and as a result it collided with the Fuel Bowser .At the Time of the incident the group of persons in the Van on the way home after attending a function held in Jaffna it has been revealed .
