A person With Around 200 Foreign Liquor Bottles Taken In To Custody At A House In Colombo

have arrested a person with around 200 Foreign Liquor bottles in possession at a Laxurious house at Colombo -07 owned by a French National last evening  (06).

The person arrested was the Manager of the French National it has been revealed. The French National who is maintaining a licensed  Caffè selling liquor in Colombo Had maintained a Liquor counter at his house as well it has been revealed .

A large dog provided security to the place had  been obstructed the excise Department officials from entering the premises and officials had put the dog inside a garage and carried out the raid.

The estimated value of the Liquor bottles taken in to custody is around Rs. 2 million according to reports .

A legal action is due to be taken agsinst the suspect .

Singer AMal Perera Brother Was Not Arrested ?

Amal Perera who is in Dubai Police Custody at present has stated that Special Police Task Force Personal (STF)did not arrest him although they have checked the room of his brother at house in Maharagama today (07).

STF Personal had taken in to custody two empty Cocaine capsules inside the room it has been revealed. However STF Personal have arrested the brother of Tele Drama actor Ryan during a raid carried out in his house at Dehiwala today .

Special Police Task Force(STF Personal )have today (07)raided the houses belonging to brothers of  Singer Amal Perera and Teledrama actor Ryan van rowan who are now in Dubai Police Custody at Maharagama and Dehiwala areas respectively and arrested them with suspected objects in their possession .

Accordingly STF Personal have raided the house of singer Amal Perera's brother at Maharagama and arrested him with two empty Cocaine capsules  at the house and raided Dehiwala house of Actor Ryan's brother and arrreted him with a  hand luggage containing  a secret bottom and a digital  scale in  possession .

The arrested suspects are due to be questioned further on the incident

Meanwhile the 25 persons arrested including the powerful drug smuggler Makandure Madush, other Drug Smugglers, Singer Amal Perera his son Neomal  Perera and around 08 reality show stars during a party held at a 6  star hotel in Dubai last Monday night  (04),had been taken. to a polce station  in Dubai for further questioning.

They are now in.a prison cell it has been reported

Meanwhile Police have taken blood samples of the suspects arrested in Dubai to check their drug status it has   been revealed .

Several Banks Blocked ATM Cards Of Thousands Of Consumers Due To A Fraudulant Transactions

Several Banks in the country including state and Private banks have blocked the ATM Visa and Debit cards issued to thousands of their customers since last weekend after recovering a scam of stealing passwords of ATM Cards and removing money from Bank accounts of the card holder organized by few foreign Nationals.

The Blockade is still there in some of the Private Banks and it is due to remove by tomorrow with an alternative solution to the problem according to Bank sources .

Few Chinese and a Romenian National had been arrested by the police with around Rs.1.2 million in cash which  they have stolen from the bank accounts of ATM Card holders during last few days it has been revealed .

The suspects had fixed a private gadget in ATM Machines and recorded the ATM Card details including the passwords when the card holder inserts the card in to the machine it has been revealed. Afterwards they have made Fraudulent ATM Cards and remove the money from. the ATM Card holders account .

Authorities have advised the public to be aware people who are trying to fix gadgets by facing  backwards to  the CCTV Cameras fixed inside the ATM Rooms and informed on them to the Police.
