Joint Opposition Group has Handed Over A No Confdence Motion To The Speaker Against Minister Mustapha

A no confidance motion signed by 13 Joint Opposition

MP's against the Minister of Provincial Councils and Local government bodies Faizar Mustapha had been handed Over to the Speaker Karu Jasuriya this noon (23).

The no confidance motion has been signed against Minister Mustapha over attempting to delay the scheduled local government elections and other related charges.

Meanwhile the leftist party Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) too announced that the Party will hand over a no confidance motion against the Minister Mustapha to the speaker.

Eleven Persons Were Injured Due To A Road Accident

Eleven persons including ten school children have

been injured and hospitalized after the Bus they were travelling in falling down a precipice at Nawaguruwela in Laggala area this evening (23).

The injured were admitted to the Mahiyanganaya and Pallegama hospitals for treatment.

The Bus fallen in to the precipice has belonged to the Mahaweli Authority it has been revealed.

Three Persons Were Killed Due To A Road Accident

Three persons including a Couple and one of their

twin sons were killed and other twin son had gone missing after the Motor Car they were travelling in falling down into a Viena Canal at Mahiyanganaye.

One twin son of the deceased couple age 17 years old had managed to save his life.

Bodies of the deceased couple had been recovered inside the vehicle.

One twin son of the deceased couple had gone missing in the waters it has been reported.

A rescue operation to find out the missing son of the deceased couple is Underway.
