transporting 10 kilo grammes of Kerala Cannabis in a Bus near the Vavuniya Hospital .

The stock of Kerala Cannabis concealed inside of the travelling bag of the suspect and it worth around Rs.1.5 million according to the Police.

The suspect who is a resident of Puttalam District had purchased the stock of Kerala Cannabis from a businessman in Jaffna and transporting it to Colombo at the time of the arrest .The suspect is due to produce before the Vavuniya Magistrate court.

Due To A Derailment Of A Train In Upper Country Railway Line Train Services Are Being Disrupted

Due to a derailment of the "Udarata Manike" train traveling from Badullw to Colombo this morning(21) near the Hatton-Rosalle Train station the train services of the upper country railway line have been disrupted since morning according to the Control Room of the Sri Lanka Railways Department.

One carriage of the "Udarata Manike" Train had derailed it has been revealed.Authorities are taking steps to bring back the train services of the Railway line  to normalcy it has been announced.
